Providing ongoing access to the LGPS

If a contractor wants transferring staff to keep their LGPS access, they must sign an admission agreement with you and the Pension Fund. This lets staff stay in the LGPS while working on the transferred service.

The agreement covers:

• risk management
• whether new employees can join the scheme
• what happens when the contract ends.

It’s important to contact us before finalising the contract. Once signed, the contractor becomes an admitted body.
