Setting up power of attorney
If you’re thinking of setting up an arrangement to authorise:
- your son/daughter/relative or
- solicitor to deal with your finances or
- you have power of attorney for a person with an LGPS pension
please fill in our ‘Power of attorney’ form. We’ll also need a copy of the full power of attorney document or an LPA online access code.
We can only pay pension benefits to a bank account in the member’s name, whether this is a sole or joint account.
