Yes. You can buy extra pension with APCs.

First, work out how much pension you’ve lost. Then use the LGPS APC calculator.

If you want to buy back the lost pension, complete a buying back lost pension form and send to Payroll.

You can pay:

• a lump sum
• monthly payments

If you pay monthly, you’ll need to confirm you’re in good health.
