Yes, if the salary sacrifice reduces your pensionable pay.

The salary sacrifice amount comes out of your pay before pension contributions are worked out. This means your pensionable pay is lower, so you pay less into the LGPS.

Your contribution rate may also change if your pay moves into a different band.
